2023 Singapore Ethereum Conference: A bridge connecting Web3 developers and local ecology

The 2023 Singapore Ethereum Conference supported by Odaily Planet Daily will kick off on September 10, gathering builders, developers and communities to jointly promote the thriving Ethereum ecosystem. The 3-day event, supported by community partners including the Ethereum Singapore team, will showcase the potential of Web3 in positive ways through real-world use cases from local non-profits. It is expected to attract more than 2000 developers from all over the world.

The event theme "Infinite Garden City" reflects Singapore's identity as a garden city and draws on Ethereum's vision of an infinite garden that evolves and grows organically with people's support, just like nurturing spaces.

The event aims to cultivate the influence of local non-profit organizations and public welfare fields, sow the seeds for the future of talents, and at the same time demonstrate how the local community works together to create a colorful picture of Singapore's Ethereum ecosystem.

“Singapore has been a global model for efficiency in transport, infrastructure and healthcare. We are excited to highlight another side of Singapore, its thriving local community. EthereumCon Singapore 2023 will provide an opportunity for the Ethereum community to share Let’s work together to solve problems in the non-profit space and develop meaningful solutions to show the world how technology can be used for good,” said Qing Ze Hum, organizer of Ethereum Singapore 2023.

“Since hosting the first Ethereum conference in 2015, the Singapore community has grown into a powerhouse in Asia, attracting an influx of new Dapps, innovations, funding interest and talent to the country. Very optimistic about what the next 5 years of developer-focused conferences will bring," said Shaun Djie, founder of Singapore's Ethereum Social Meetup group. Founded in 2016, the community has grown to over 9,000 members with the aim of promoting and expanding the Ethereum ecosystem in Singapore.
