Ondo Finance will acquire the digital securities company Oasis Pro
According to Techub News and reported by CoinDesk, Ondo Finance will acquire the digital securities company Oasis Pro, regulated by the SEC, to promote its tokenization of stocks in the United States. The acquisition price has not been disclosed, and the acquisition will bring Ondo a series of U.S. securities licenses: a broker-dealer regulated by the SEC, an alternative trading system (ATS), and a transfer agent. The transaction is still pending regulatory approval.
Oasis Pro was established in 2019 and is one of the first companies in the United States authorized to settle digital securities with fiat currency and stablecoins such as USDC and DAI. The company has also contributed to the development of regulatory policies through the cryptocurrency working group of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
